So the new Pokemon've been released to the public.

These are the ones I'd want on (one of my) team(s) e u e

I really really really really like the pig starter. I know, its final evolution looks like a Rhyperior and I do not care one bit. (Pigs are awesome and there should have been lots more piggily-types in the game.) So I probably will end up getting the game _(Black) after all

But yeah. Most are clunkily overdesigned, or look like bizarre splices between pre-existing pokumuns, and I think they introduced the seasons in the game just so they could make multiple recolours. There are some I like despite these things; I find them endearing, and there are some that are just unapologetically lazy and terrible. While I think the same could be said for most of the Pokemon games ("the majority of these suck but I like these few",) these are entering "Original Character Drawn By An 8 Year Old At The Back Of An American Issue Of Digimon. In 1999".

ahh, some doodles. One of the default brushes in CS5 handles the same way as the brush I used for drawing with in SAI, so I am very happy, seeing as SAI stopped recognising my tablet ages ago! Yeeeeee

pfpfpppffffft winter-related things with horns and branches/antlers. everyone has drawn something exactly like this.

despite that, going to fiddle with him more, but i figured i should draw him while he's in my head.
he can stretch out his body funkily (he's just this black amorphous thing under the cloth). I'm not entirely sure if he has a head (and if he does, what it looks like.)

"1" seems like such a simple number at first glance. Especially when it feels like it's been a lot longer than that, and to round it down to "1" seems almost demeaning. But, 1 is the greatest obstacle. 1 is the start of an incredible learning experience, the first hurdle, the beginning.

a little while back I did some collaborative pieces with jennadelle, who is so charming and such a pleasure to work with (we also shared some sweet tunage, yee!) and overall it was a wonderful experience.
